ESPN Sports Radio 760's Steve Politziner will return as Emcee of the Football Roast. New to the show this year is funny man Gary Frechette who will represent the University of Florida Gators, and Armand Grossman who is stepping in for Paul Metcalf to represent the Florida Atlantic University Owls. While you dine, our speakers will taunt, tease and poke fun at their rivals as they share their completely biased and sometimes irreverent observations with the crowd on August 20th. Arrive early for a Silent Auction of sport memorabilia beginning at 11:30 a.m., or just relax, mix and mingle with your friends, and pick up a few lucky raffle tickets... someone will go home with a $500 Gardens Mall gift certificate. Auctioneer Justin Paul will conduct a live auction during the Roast of a dining package which includes valuable gift certificates for over a dozen area restaurants including dinner for 10 at Brio Tuscan Grille... golf at Eastpointe and Binks Forest golf clubs plus a weekend stay at The Marriott... and a relaxation spa package. If you're a foodie, golf nut or ready to be pampered, load your wallet and come ready to bid for a great cause. (We accept checks, too.) Community needs have never been greater, and we need you now more than ever. Make your your seat reservations early to secure the best view of the stage. Your support will help Kiwanis to further its mission of "changing the world ONE child and ONE community at a time". Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach Gardens, located in Division 20 in northern Palm Beach County. Chartered in 1983, community service is and has always been our primary goal. Camaraderie and business networking are side benefits that have come as a result of working together with our "Kiwanis Family" both locally and world-wide. Through fundraising efforts such as our Football Roast, and the participation of our members in a number of projects, we strive to fulfill the Kiwanis vision of changing the world... one child and one community at a time. We sponsor youth in local schools, award college scholarships to local high school seniors, reward elementary school students who bring up their grades, reward teenagers who have turned their lives around, and give generously of our time and treasures to a number of organizations and individuals in need throughout the year. Please take a few minutes to explore our site and learn more about our activities. Like what you see here and want to know how you can help us with our mission?
